Happy summer!

Even though the official release date of Dead Ends is September 1, my bookseller friends are telling me their stock is arriving and even Amazon is gearing up to ship the books early. Dead Ends is the second Main Street Murder, my new series featuring both the beautiful North Carolina High Country and (equally atttractive, of course!) journalist AnnaLise Griggs. Main Street alternates with the Maggy Thorsen Mysteries, already seven books strong.

In the first Main Street, Running on Empty, police reporter AnnaLise Griggs is called home to Sutherton, NC because her mom, Daisy, accidentally–or not, depending on who you believe–bled-out a donor at the local blood drive.

Now, in Dead Ends, AnnaLise’s past comes home to roost, too, in the persons of her ex-lover. And his wife and daughter. As you might guess, somebody must die.

Meanwhile, the e-book version of Triple Shot, the seventh Maggy Thorsen Coffeehouse Mystery, is now available and my wonderful narrator, Karen Savage, is hard at work bringing Maggy to audio. In fact, the first book, Uncommon Grounds, is already available through Amazon and Audio.com and you can find it and all my books at your local bookseller or by clicking on the “Buy Books” tab above.

As for me, I’m starting work on Maggy 8, tentatively titled . . . . okay, I don’t have a title yet, tentative or otherwise. Better get to work.

All the best,

Sandy
